Detailed Description

RECOMMENDED FOR SPECIALTY AND LONGER BITS: Chuck Extensions are a critical BullseyeBore Core accessory for use with specialty bits such as Spade and Auger bits as well as longer drill bits (typically 4” or more). They are also recommended for use with the Standard BullseyeBore Core models CR1-100 and CG1-100. A single Chuck Extension mounts in between the drill chuck face and BullseyeBore Core to move the projected Reference and Alignment Patterns closer together on the worksurface at the start of drilling, making alignment or misalignment easier to visualize. They can also be used to reduce the overall diameter of the Alignment Pattern (or Patterns) if they do not fit on the worksurface, allowing you to use BullseyeBore Core in tight spaces or on narrow materials.
VERSATILE THREE-PACK: Purchase includes Chuck Extensions in three different lengths (0.525", 1.0", and 1.5" / 3.8cm, 2.5cm, 1.3cm), giving you options for various drill bit lengths and work scenarios. Some experimentation may be required to select the optimally sized Chuck Extension for your specific application.
SIMPLE MAGNETIC CONNECTION: Chuck Extensions connect magnetically to the drill chuck face just like BullseyeBore Core. The Core then engages magnetically with the front of the Chuck Extension, which also contains an extended ring that inserts into BullseyeBore Core to prevent displacement between the two during operation.
